JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager - Valuation & Analysis
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Implement standards and guidelines to the valuation production processes for allocated countries within the region
2. Provide ongoing input to Actuarial Standards team in methodology setting and to propose enhancements such as application of Local adjustments where appropriate
3. Produce result opinion summary to highlight key issues, risk and recommendations for the local actuarial teams
4. Recommend priorities, schedules and resources needed to conduct analyses in order to meet end users’ delivery requirements
5. Ensure team produces high quality analyses according to agreed timetables
6. Ensure that user requirements are fully understood, documented, and implemented for regular and ad-hoc production of reports and analyses
7. Provide high quality, timely consistent, standardized services to customers
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
· Fellow of a recognized actuarial institute with several years’ financial services industry experience
· Good experience of valuations, financial reporting and MIS
· Understanding of capital management, profit and value measure
· Asian regional experience desirable
· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required
