Job profile:
-Actively contribute to client projects of a technical actuarial nature
-Have extensive client contact, including dealing with queries, attending meetings with support and working on client site;
-Contribute to practice management, for example mentoring less experienced colleagues and involvement in recruitment.
Candidate profile:
-Overall knowledge of the life industry and the ability to apply your knowledge in practical and commercial situations;
-Experience of some of the following actuarial techniques: asset liability modelling, stochastic modelling, embedded value, audit, realistic balance sheet, ICA, asset modelling, capital management, with-profits, protection, distribution, M&A / structuring;
-A solid academic track record, ideally a degree in Actuarial Science or a quantitative subject, and good progress towards a recognised actuarial qualification;
-Experience of building actuarial modelling systems, for example Prophet / MoSes, or spreadsheet-based models;
-Strong communication skills.
