Join a leading actuarial consulting team and apply your skills in projects reaching beyond traditional actuarial boundaries. You'll work with colleagues and clients in Audit, Tax, Consulting and Corporate Finance where you will actively contribute to client projects of a technical actuarial nature. You will be exposed to extensive client contact including dealing with queries, attending meetings and working on client site. This is a role where you can contribute to practice management for example mentoring less experienced colleagues and involvement in recruitment.
The ideal candidate must have an overall knowledge of the life industry and experience in some of the following actuarial techniques: asset liability modelling, stochastic modelling, embedded value, USGAAP, IFRS, audit, realistic balance sheet, ICA, asset modelling, capital management, with-profits, protection, distribution, M&A / structuring.
You must also possess a solid academic track record, ideally a degree in Actuarial Science or a quantitative subject, and good progress towards a recognised actuarial qualification. Experience of building actuarial modelling systems, for example Prophet / MoSes, or spreadsheet-based models will also be advantageous.
