Alternative Investment Life Insurance Actuary

As a Life Insurance Actuary you will manage investments in insurance- linked securities, specifically in life insurance such as mortality and longevity risks, pro-actively develop new investment opportunities worldwide and negotiate private transactions of life insurance risks with insurance companies and investment banks. You will also be expected to achieve target investment returns for client portfolios within given risk limits as well as assist relationship managers in the acquisitions of new investment funds.

Qualification and Requirements:

- University degree in mathematics, physics or similar with further specialization in actuarial science.
-Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a life insurance actuary ideally in corporate finance or consulting.
- Ability to structure and execute transactions.
- Proven interpersonal and stake holder management skills.
